Head of Content - Glitch Gospel at Glitch Africa

About the Role

Glitch Gospel, the faith and inspiration arm of Glitch Africa, is hiring a Head of Content to lead our creative vision and oversee all Gospel-related productions. This is a full-time, Lagos-based leadership role for a creative visionary who understands both the Gospel space and digital storytelling culture.

This position offers a significant opportunity to lead the creative direction of one of Africa's most exciting faith-driven media platforms, shaping powerful stories of worship, hope, and inspiration. From powerful live worship sessions to heartfelt conversations and inspiring documentaries, you'll shape stories that uplift, inspire, and redefine how faith content is experienced across Africa and beyond.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead creative direction and overall content strategy for Glitch Gospel
• Supervise ideation, scripting, production, and post-production across shows, podcasts, and live sessions
• Build and manage a creative team of producers, editors, and content leads
• Collaborate with Gospel artists, pastors, and influencers to create original, viral content
• Maintain Glitch's premium storytelling and production standards across all channels
• Develop new show formats that merge faith, culture, and creativity
• Ensure all content reflects Glitch Gospel's mission, values, and spiritual integrity

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the Christian/Gospel entertainment landscape in Africa
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in media, TV, or digital content creation
• Proven track record in content leadership or production management
• Strong creative direction and storytelling skills
• Passionate about faith-driven storytelling and community impact
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
