## Title: Head of Business Development

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos, Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Development to lead our business growth initiatives and drive revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive business development strategies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Manage client relationships and ensure achievement of sales and revenue targets
  • Design and implement comprehensive business plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
  • Lead and develop the business development team to enhance overall business performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report on business development metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Business Development, Business Planning, and Account Management
  • Leadership experience in a microfinance bank (MFB)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Sales and client relationship management
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to understand market trends and drive strategic decisions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in the microfinance or financial services industry
