About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Maintenance and Engineering to lead our Maintenance and Engineering function. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure within our smart card manufacturing and personalization environment.

This role requires a seasoned engineering professional with strong facility management experience—preferably someone who has previously managed technical systems such as elevators, power, HVAC, and general building maintenance within a bank or large corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Engineering Oversight

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of all production and facility equipment including card manufacturing, personalization, and support systems
• Ensure minimal downtime of production machinery through proactive maintenance planning and effective resource deployment
• Supervise engineering and technical teams in the installation, calibration, and servicing of equipment
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance

Facility Management

• Oversee the maintenance of company facilities including power systems, elevators, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems
• Coordinate with external service providers and vendors for timely facility maintenance and compliance with safety standards
• Manage energy utilization and efficiency programs to optimize operational costs
• Ensure the facility complies with all relevant statutory and environmental regulations

Leadership & Administrative Functions

• Provide strategic direction to the Maintenance and Engineering Department, setting clear goals and KPIs
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective maintenance operations
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff to drive high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Prepare and present performance reports and maintenance analytics to management
