Head, Investment Advisory at Neptune Microfinance Bank

Job Summary

We seek a dedicated professional to lead our Investment Advisory function. This role is responsible for developing and managing the Bank's investment portfolios and customer relationships, providing strategic investment advice, and ensuring optimal returns in line with the bank's objectives and regulatory guidelines. The Head will manage and grow investment portfolios of high-net-worth clients, institutions, and corporate customers through expert investment advisory, portfolio structuring, and wealth preservation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and mobilize deposits for investment from new and existing customers
• Market the bank's deposit products (savings, current, fixed deposits, and investment products) to individuals, SMEs, and corporate organizations
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly deposit targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and retention
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Cross-sell other bank products and services to deposit customers
• Evaluate market trends and identify investment opportunities
• Manage client portfolios and provide strategic investment advice to ensure optimal returns
• Monitor competitors' activities and recommend strategies to enhance the bank's competitiveness
• Ensure strict compliance with CBN and internal policies in all deposit mobilization activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, portfolio management, or related financial services
• Strong understanding of Nigerian financial markets
• Proven track record of successful investment and deposit mobilization
