## Title: Head of Institutional Sales

About the Role

The Head of Institutional Sales will identify opportunities and develop strategic relationships with institutional investors, asset managers, and investment consultants across assigned institutional market channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate prospects and institutional clients
  • Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Lead new business meetings and close sales with institutional investors and consultants
  • Leverage existing institutional account relationships through proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with pension consultants
  • Assist in the development and launch of new products
  • Serve as liaison to investment management groups to ensure active support of sales and marketing efforts
  • Ensure product and sales materials are updated and tailored for relevant presentations, conferences, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and develop additional sales opportunities

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional working experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create sales and relationship opportunities with clients, prospects, and consultants in assigned market segments
  • Excellent sales skills with in-depth product knowledge and broad investment knowledge
  • Proven ability to close business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in Investment/Wealth Management or Financial Services
  • Professional body membership
  • SEC registration

  • General understanding of financial markets and investment vehicles

Education

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
