Job Summary

This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and leadership in mineral exploration. The role encompasses building a quality and adequate mineral resource base to support planned monthly, quarterly, and annual production targets, as well as medium to long-term production growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ore reserves and mineral resource portfolio in conformance with AIG's reserves and resources policy and strategy
• Oversee all exploration activities across the company
• Assess existing and potential new mineral assets
• Lead and manage geology teams
• Direct mineral resource evaluation and estimation activities for the Company's development projects

Required Qualifications

• Professional Geologist designation
• Degree in Geology or related specialization
• Minimum 10 years of senior-level experience across a wide range of mineral commodities
• In-depth knowledge of mineral exploration techniques and their applications
• International and/or Africa experience in diverse geological environments
• Strong experience in exploration documentation, record keeping, and technical report authoring
