An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Role Description - The Head Chef is a key leadership position, responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and delivering high-quality culinary experiences. - This full-time, on-site role, located in Lagos State, Nigeria, involves menu development, managing kitchen staff, monitoring food preparation and presentation standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - The Head Chef will also handle inventory, budgeting, and fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment. Required Qualifications: - Culinary skills including menu development, food preparation, and presentation techniques - Kitchen management skills including team leadership, staff training, and task delegation - Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and quality control standards - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills - Budgeting, cost control, and inventory management experience - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality - Relevant culinary certification, training, or degree is highly preferred - Prior experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role is an advantage
