Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Head Accountant to join Agro Preciso Ltd in Lagos. This role encompasses core financial stewardship and strategic advisory responsibilities, requiring a professional who can manage the full spectrum of accounting functions while driving financial performance and supporting organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Ensure strict compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Perform complex reconciliations and manage tax filings and audits
• Implement and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy
• Provide detailed variance analysis and insightful financial reports to support management decision-making
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to guide organizational strategy
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives for financial system improvements and automation
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and anomalies, providing timely and actionable recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Professional Certification: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 4–8 years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related discipline
