This role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with reporting standards, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes with precision. - You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, performing complex reconciliations, and managing tax filings and audits. - A key duty is to implement and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy, while also providing detailed variance analysis and insightful financial reports to support management decision-making. - In a dynamic, fast-paced setting, this accountant leverages a sharp and active mind to go beyond routine bookkeeping. - You will also be conducting in-depth financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to guide organizational strategy. The role requires proactively identifying process inefficiencies and leading initiatives for financial system improvements and automation. - With exceptional attention to detail, the accountant ensures absolute accuracy in all deliverables, analyzes large datasets to uncover trends and anomalies, and provides timely, actionable recommendations. - This combination of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and adaptability is crucial for driving financial performance, mitigating risk, and supporting sustainable growth in a demanding business environment. Education: & Skills Summary - Professional Requirement and Certification: Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). Must have a minimum of 4-8 years of professional experience. - Academic Foundation: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related discipline. - Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel for complex analysis and modeling. - Analytical Rigor: Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and provide strategic insights. - Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrates superior written and verbal communication abilities for clear reporting and effective teamwork. - Ethical Discretion: Exercises a high degree of integrity and confidentiality in managing sensitive financial information. - Organizational Agility: Exhibits strong organizational and project management skills to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
