Hardware Computer Engineer at CONIAH Systems Support Limited

About the Role

CONIAH Systems Support Limited is seeking a qualified Hardware Computer Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure while providing technical support to network users.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure including printers and photocopiers
• Provide technical support for network users
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Setup and manage messaging and collaboration systems for enterprise use
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance to identify potential bottlenecks and work with developers and vendors to implement solutions
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Provide second-level support for Microsoft Exchange users
• Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution

Required Qualifications

• Certificate in Networking (Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
• Microsoft Certification (MCITP or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Hands-on experience in computer systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience managing Active Directory Domain Services
• Hands-on experience with various Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Exchange servers
• Ability to install and configure Local Area Networks
• Strong knowledge of data networks
