## Title: Growth Officer
About the Company
Our client is a transaction finance company that provides short-term financing options to Trade/Supply Chain Businesses and Allied Enterprises/Entities in Nigeria.
Location
Abeokuta and Abia
Job Responsibilities
- Acquire new merchants and manage existing merchant transactions (drawdown and repayment)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
- Work closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support, and Product to ensure a seamless user experience
- Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (advantageous)
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
- Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Fluency in local languages relevant to job location (Yoruba for Abeokuta and Igbo for Abia)
