## Title: Growth Officer

About the Company

Our client is a transaction finance company that provides short-term financing options to Trade/Supply Chain Businesses and Allied Enterprises/Entities in Nigeria.

Location

Abeokuta and Abia

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquire new merchants and manage existing merchant transactions (drawdown and repayment)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support, and Product to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (advantageous)
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
  • Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Fluency in local languages relevant to job location (Yoruba for Abeokuta and Igbo for Abia)
