Group Head – Security & Intelligence (Logistics & Transport – Nigeria) at Vodstra Limited

About the Role

Our client is a major nationwide logistics and transport company operating high-value cargo, passenger routes, terminals, and interstate corridors across Nigeria. We are seeking a tested intelligence professional from the Nigerian Armed Forces or Police Intelligence units to take full strategic and operational control of corporate security nationwide.

We are specifically targeting senior intelligence personnel with deep field experience in threat assessment, counterintelligence, asset protection, and coordinated security operations within Nigeria.

Candidate Profile

This position is strictly for candidates who have:

• Served in the Intelligence Corps of the Nigerian Army, Naval Intelligence, Air Force Intelligence, or the Nigeria Police Intelligence Bureau (or equivalent classified units)
• Held senior operational intelligence roles with command or regional oversight responsibilities
• Managed threat analysis, surveillance operations, risk mitigation, and coordinated multi-agency responses
• Operated in high-risk, high-pressure security environments involving organized crime, cargo theft, sabotage, or insurgent threats
• Led structured intelligence teams with measurable operational outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead a nationwide corporate security and intelligence architecture
• Protect high-value cargo, terminals, fleet assets, warehouses, and personnel
• Establish proactive intelligence gathering networks across operational corridors
• Prevent cargo theft, route hijacking, internal collusion, vandalism, and organized criminal infiltration
• Lead investigations, covert audits, and internal security assessments
• Coordinate with military formations, police commands, DSS, NSCDC, and other security agencies
• Develop crisis response protocols and rapid deployment frameworks
• Implement surveillance systems and tracking solutions
