Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies in line with curriculum standards and Montessori-aligned principles
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, respected, and valued
• Assess student learning and progress through observations, assignments, and assessments; provide regular feedback and support
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student growth and classroom activities
• Incorporate hands-on activities and learning materials to make abstract concepts tangible and relatable
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary learning experiences and school-wide events
• Participate in ongoing professional development and embrace innovative approaches to teaching and learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a lower elementary or early primary setting
• Understanding of or willingness to learn Montessori educational philosophy
• Passion for working with children and helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to design creative and effective learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective teaching practice
