About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking experienced geophysical talent. You will support and enhance 2D/3D seismic and wellbore acquisition programs across the company. You will interface with operating groups, technical specialists, and vendors to provide 2D/3D seismic and borehole seismic survey acquisition solutions that safely meet organizational goals and commitments. You may also serve as a Formation Evaluation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to Level 1 and 2 responsibilities, Level 3 geophysicists will:

• Conduct post-stack and pre-stack seismic inversion and AVO analysis
• Perform seismic attribute analysis to define structural and depositional environments/facies
• Apply geophysics expertise to unconventional play development
• Provide technical guidance on 2D/3D seismic survey design and execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, effective solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Geotechnical or Geophysical Engineering
• Previous experience in a closely related geophysical position
• Strong structural geology background with experience across all tectonic systems, geologic environments, and reservoir types
• Sound knowledge of seismic processing and seismic acquisition operations
• Experience interpreting gravity and magnetic data
• Strong knowledge of local petroleum geology (minimum)
