An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional passionate about exploring the Earth and applying geological expertise to real-world projects. We are seeking a skilled Geologist to join our team at Hitech Construction Company Limited in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will conduct surveys, analyze samples, and provide valuable insights for construction, mining, and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys, site inspections, and field sampling
• Collect and analyze rock, soil, and mineral samples
• Create borehole logs, maps, and models using GIS and geological software
• Evaluate natural resource deposits and assess material suitability
• Provide technical input on environmental compliance, waste management, and project safety
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project teams to ensure sustainable development

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geology/Geosciences (Bachelor's degree with strong experience may apply)
• 2–3 years of experience as a Geologist in construction, mining, or natural resources
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, Rockware, GoCAD, and other geological modeling tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations
• Willingness to travel to project sites
