About the Position

Lagos Muslim International School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Geography Teacher. This role is based in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare schemes of work and instructional materials for classroom use
• Recommend appropriate textbooks for teaching Geography
• Prepare and organize the classroom for effective teaching and learning
• Deliver engaging lectures and provide quality instruction to students
• Provide additional tutoring and mentoring support to students as needed
• Administer examinations and grade student performance
• Mark and grade all assignments, projects, and assessments
• Monitor student progress and report to school management
• Provide instructional materials to support teaching
• Carry out any other assignments given by school management

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant teaching qualifications in Geography or related field
• 3 – 5 years of teaching experience

Compensation

N50,000 – N60,000 per month
