About the Role

We are seeking a talented professional who is passionate about socio-economic development through agricultural and agro-allied investments. As General Manager, you will lead all operational and financial aspects of our agricultural enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cultivation operations and equipment maintenance
• Supervise department heads and oversee team performance
• Manage the farm's finances, budgeting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Implement sustainable farming techniques and modern agricultural technologies
• Collaborate with Research & Development to improve crop yields and productivity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture (Master's Degree preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial farming
• At least 5 years in a general management position
• Proven track record managing large-scale farms (over 500 hectares)

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong business acumen, including budgeting and strategic planning
• Knowledge of modern agricultural practices and technology
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with Nigerian and West African agricultural policies, climates, and challenges
