We are a fast-growing Logistics and Courier Services company seeking to recruit a highly competent, technology-savvy, and results-driven General Manager to lead our operations and drive the next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a vibrant professional with strong leadership capacity, innovative thinking, and hands-on experience in managing logistics businesses. Position Overview: The General Manager will provide overall strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the company. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, drive business growth, optimize service delivery through technology, and introduce innovative ideas to strengthen competitiveness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the company’s logistics and courier operations.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue, market share, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including dispatch, fleet management, warehousing (where applicable), and last-mile delivery.
  • Drive the adoption and effective use of technology solutions such as logistics management systems, tracking platforms, data analytics, and automation tools.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage departmental heads and staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational and financial performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative service offerings.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and timely resolution of operational challenges.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability and financial sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Required Qualifications: & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • (A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar senior management role within a logistics, courier, transport, or supply chain company.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, fleet management, and last-mile delivery systems.
  • Technology-savvy, with proven experience using digital tools, logistics software, tracking systems, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative ideas that drive growth and operational improvement.
