## Title: GCP Specialist / Engineer
Job Summary
We are recruiting a GCP Specialist/Engineer who will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the transition of on-premises or other cloud workloads to GCP using tools like Migration Center or Database Migration Service
- Monitor resource utilization through Cloud Billing and FinOps strategies to minimize cloud expenditure while maintaining performance
- Monitor performance, availability, and costs
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues
- Document architecture and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience
- GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong knowledge of core GCP services and architecture
- Experience with IAM, networking, and cloud security
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar languages)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of DevOps and cloud-native best practices
Compensation
Monthly salary: ₦500,000
