Job Summary

We are seeking a GCP Architect to design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will translate business needs into technical blueprints, guide cloud adoption, ensure best practices in security and governance, and collaborate with development and operations teams for implementation, migration, and continuous improvement. You will work with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and BigQuery, while mentoring teams and creating technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and manage migrations (e.g., from on-premises to GCP) with hands-on work on IaaS/PaaS services
• Implement security frameworks, ensure adherence to policies, and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Manage networking infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing
• Configure and maintain storage and database services (Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery)
• Implement and maintain security best practices including IAM, service accounts, and encryption
• Monitor system performance, availability, and costs
• Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
• Document architecture and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Solid understanding of GCP core services:
  • Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run
  • VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS
  • Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery
• Experience with IAM and cloud security principles
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with monitoring and logging (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging)
