Key Responsibilities: - Access Control: Monitor and record the entry and exit of patients, visitors, and staff to ensure a secure environment. - Hospital Errands: Deliver medical records, laboratory samples, and documents between departments or to external partners. - Patient Assistance: Cheerfully assist patients (especially expectant mothers and the elderly) with directions and entry into the facility. - Security & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the hospital perimeter and report any safety hazards or suspicious activities. - Logistics Support: Assist with the receipt and distribution of hospital supplies and mail. - General Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing (leaks, blockages), electrical systems (lighting, sockets), and structural fittings. - Equipment Upkeep: Assist in the basic maintenance of hospital generators, water pumps, and air conditioning units. - Facility Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and fix minor issues before they escalate. - Safety Compliance: Ensure the hospital premises are safe and that all repairs meet safety and hygiene standards for a medical environment. - Vendor Liaison: Assist management in supervising external contractors for major technical projects. Requirements: - Experience: Proven experience in general maintenance, security, - Professionalism: Punctuality, cleanliness, and a respectful attitude toward patients and medical staff. - Character: Evidence of a "born-again" Christian life and alignment with the hospital's faith-based mission. - Communication: Ability to speak and write clearly in English; proficiency in Igbo is an advantage. - Attributes: Honest, vigilant, and physically fit. - Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical faults. - Reliability: Willingness to be "on-call" for emergency repairs outside of regular shifts. - Values: A committed Christian with a strong sense of integrity and professional excellence.
