About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Gas Generator Operator in Kano, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of power at the site
• Perform daily maintenance of the generator set
• Conduct utility and parameter readings
• Manage daily fuel haulage and track fuel quantity
• Perform daily gauging of generator oil and coolant levels

Required Qualifications

• HND or OND in an electrical field
• SSCE or Trade Test certification in a related discipline
• High experience in electrical and mechanical repairs
• General knowledge of electrical work

Required Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of generator systems (diesel, gas, or hybrid)
• Technical troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Record-keeping and reporting accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure during power failures
