## Title: Gadget Store Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Gadget Store Manager to oversee all daily operations of our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales, managing inventory, leading and mentoring the sales team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience centered around technology products.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance and Profitability

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly store revenue targets (KPIs)
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement corrective action when targets are not met
  • Manage store expenses, operational costs, and shrinkage (loss prevention) to maximize profitability

Team Leadership and Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate the sales and support team to ensure high performance and product knowledge
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours while controlling labor costs

Inventory and Merchandising

  • Oversee all inventory management, including receiving, physical counts, cycle counts, and security of high-value electronic items
  • Ensure all products are displayed according to merchandising guidelines, focusing on aesthetic appeal, functionality, and accurate pricing
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and features to effectively train the team and inform customers

Customer Experience and Operations

  • Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational efficiency
  • Handle complex customer complaints and returns/exchanges, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration or Retail Management
