## Title: Front Desk and Administrative Assistant
About the Role
As a Front Desk and Administrative Assistant at Stella Maris High School, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and prospective families. You will ensure a professional, welcoming reception environment while managing essential daily administrative tasks that support school operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, parents, and prospective families professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer, screen, and forward telephone calls; manage school email correspondence; and distribute school newsletters and notices
- Maintain student attendance records, visitor logs, and update school databases and MIS systems
- Assist staff with photocopying, scanning, filing, and scheduling meetings
- Coordinate with school management for supply procurement, manage school mail, and assist with event organization (e.g., school meetings, open days)
- Handle confidential student and staff information with discretion and professionalism
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a school environment
- Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
