## Title: French Teacher

About the Role

An International School located in Lagos (Mainland) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lessons according to curriculum standards
  • Set assessment tasks and mark student work
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and personal development
  • Provide regular feedback and support to help students achieve their best
  • Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital tools to create interactive and informative teaching materials
  • Prepare students for examinations, ensuring comprehensive understanding of the subject matter
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking

Required Qualifications

  • HND, BSc, or B.Ed in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
  • Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian/British curriculum
  • Proficiency in interactive whiteboard and ICT tools for teaching and learning
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
