French Speaking Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Position Overview

An established company is seeking a skilled and dynamic French-speaking Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing accounting functions, ensuring financial integrity, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting duties including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
• Work closely with senior management to assess financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders and clients, ensuring smooth coordination and clarity in financial matters
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and tax filings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to provide financial support and insights
• Manage the budgeting process and oversee financial controls within the organization
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data in line with company policies and regulatory requirements

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (5+ years preferred)
• Fluent in French (both spoken and written) with the ability to engage effectively with French-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and practices
• Experience in managing accounting systems, financial statements, and reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel or relocate to other African countries as required by the business

Compensation

N350,000 monthly net (negotiable)
