Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Food Technologist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. You will play a crucial role in developing new food products and improving existing formulas to enhance quality, nutrition, and consumer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Develop new product ideas and recipes with formulation and cost optimization
• Test and examine samples, and conduct experiments to improve product quality
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards
• Integrate new technology in the food production development process
• Scale up production processes from trial through to full-scale manufacturing
• Work closely with technical staff to develop recipes
• Conduct preservation trials and manage product stability testing
• Document formulations, specifications, and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Food Technologist in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Compensation and Work Schedule

Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000

Work Days: Monday – Saturday

Work Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
