FMCG (Manufacturing) - Credit Control Officer at BUA Foods

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to support the credit control team in managing credit customer accounts, monitoring and reconciling trade receivables, and ensuring compliance with terms of trade and company credit policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer account balances and follow up on overdue payments
• Ensure compliance with agreed credit terms and limits
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist in preparing debtor aging analysis and credit reports
• Support the sales team by providing credit-related information and updates
• Escalate unresolved payment issues to the Credit Control Manager
• Maintain accurate credit control records and documentation

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2–4 years' experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance support
• Part professional qualification preferred
• FMCG/Manufacturing sector experience is an added advantage

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of accounting and credit management principles
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/MS365)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
