Job Summary

The Fleet Officer provides essential administrative and operational support to the Fleet Department. Working closely with the Head of Fleet, this role ensures that all vehicle records, documentation, and communications are properly maintained and up to date. The Fleet Officer also acts as a liaison between drivers, management, Accounts, and other departments to ensure efficient day-to-day vehicle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all company vehicles, including documentation such as licenses, insurance, and maintenance logs
• Support the Head of Fleet in monitoring vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and cost tracking
• Coordinate with drivers and other departments to ensure smooth fleet operations
• Track vehicle movement, fuel consumption, repairs, and servicing activities
• Ensure timely renewal of vehicle documents and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in preparing periodic fleet performance and expense reports
• Maintain digital filing systems and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support fleet efficiency and compliance

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc. in Office Administration, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably within a fleet, logistics, or operations department
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with digital record-keeping systems and data entry tools
• Basic knowledge of vehicle documentation (insurance, licensing, etc.)
