About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to lead and manage its finance team operations. This is a strategic position responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the finance team and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Prepare revenue projections, expenditure forecasts, and ensure adequate cash flow for smooth operations
• Oversee timely settlement of merchant, vendor, and service provider accounts in line with SLAs
• Prepare and review financial reports, analyses, and reconciliations to support management decisions
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance reporting
• Supervise audit preparations, inventory audits, and financial resolution processes
• Recommend and implement system and process improvements for financial efficiency
• Approve payments, refunds, chargebacks, and financial holds
• Ensure accurate maintenance of all merchant account records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree is an added advantage)
• Professional certification: ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or CFA (mandatory)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Proven experience in organizations with established financial processes and compliance standards
