An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview:
  • We are looking for an intelligent, diligent, detail and result-oriented Finance Officer who has proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry with strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management practices to join our dynamic team.
  • The Finance Officer will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing critical financial insights to support our growth and innovation in the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies/variances, and opportunities for improvement in fintech sector.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and provide variance analysis against budgets.
  • Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate financial systems with operational systems.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that could impact the company’s financial performance.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
