## Title: Finance Manager, Tax & Treasury
Job Purpose
Lead the Tax & Treasury functions within the Company, responsible for developing and implementing efficient tax strategies that reduce company tax exposure while maintaining compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable laws. Additionally, oversee the efficient management of company funds and cash flow operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Tax Related Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax strategies to reduce company tax exposure while remaining compliant with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable laws
- Interpret and communicate tax laws and their implications to the Company
- Collaborate with the Company's tax consultants in preparation of information for tax filings and audits
- Prepare and file taxes, transfer pricing documentation, and financial planning reports
- Attend and participate in strategy meetings to assess tax implications of company actions
- Prepare presentations and reports on tax situations, reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Research and review past tax filings
- Achieve set KPIs and reduce tax costs in line with established targets
Treasury Related Responsibilities
- Manage vendor, staff, and payroll disbursements, petty cash, and statutory liability payments
- Ensure all fund receipts to the company are properly accounted for
- Act as liaison between the Company and banks to facilitate quality service and resolution of any issues
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity to meet company obligations and report concerns to the Finance Director
- Manage loan facilities to obtain optimal value for the company
- Assess and invest excess company funds in suitable options that yield returns with appropriate risk management
