## Title: Finance Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team at Dreamworks Global Logistics Limited. The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of financial records
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to maintain the financial health of the company
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to help improve financial performance
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial controls and compliance
  • Manage financial planning, including the preparation of financial projections and long-term forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting and filing
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior finance team members
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and financial risk management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) qualification (compulsory)
  • 7–10 years of professional experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record in financial operations and strategic financial planning

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Team leadership and mentoring capabilities
