An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - We are hiring a Finance Manager to oversee and support the financial management, reporting, and compliance functions of our insurance business. - The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning to support the company’s strategic objectives. - The Finance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial insights, manage budgets, and strengthen internal financial controls in line with industry and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management - Prepare and present timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with regulatory and statutory requirements - Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory guidelines, tax laws, and financial reporting standards - Manage the company’s budgeting process and monitor performance against approved budgets - Oversee premium income reconciliation, claims payment controls, and investment income tracking - Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulators - Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and financial governance frameworks - Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and growth initiatives - Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure high performance and accuracy - Collaborate with other departments to support operational and strategic goals. Requirements: & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCAis required - 7–10 years relevant finance experience, preferably within the insurance sector - Strong knowledge of insurance accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance - Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and audit management - Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
