Finance Controller

• The Finance Controller will oversee all financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities of the company. The role ensures accurate financial statements, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning to support management decision making and business growth. This role requires a hands-on finance leader with strong technical accounting knowledge and operational awareness.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant local regulations

• Manage external audits and coordinate audit processes

• Support statutory filings and regulatory reporting

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes

• Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports

• Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership

Accounting Operations

• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, tax compliance, and insurance claims

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting activities

• Maintain an up-to-date and well-structured chart of accounts

• Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Develop and enforce internal control policies and procedures

• Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigating controls

• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational initiatives

• Provide financial guidance to executive leadership

Education: al Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA required

• Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage

• 5–10 years of experience in finance, audit, or accounting

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial regulations

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
