Field Service Engineer - Well Testing (Well Testing Engineer) at Bell Oil & Gas

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer specializing in Well Testing. This position offers the opportunity to provide technical expertise on well testing projects while ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs and expertise on well testing projects
• Ensure adequate equipment, consumables, and personnel are available for all well testing projects
• Verify that delivered products meet client quality expectations
• Assist in project execution planning and product delivery
• Maintain all equipment and installations in safe and excellent operating condition
• Ensure operations meet targets and deadlines as set by management or clients
• Undertake site visits for well testing and electrical projects
• Record and file all equipment maintenance reports, job history cards, and equipment status cards
• Understand, follow, and uphold company and client QHSE procedures and policies
• Ensure all permits to work systems are adhered to and completed on location as per company and client procedures
• Write safety observation cards (SEC) for every identified hazard
• Liaise with project office to optimize costs of consumables and materials
• Demonstrate ability to support Senior Field Service Engineer when needed
• Assist in development and implementation of in-house training modules
• Carry out other official assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Sciences with focus on Electrical and Electronics
• Minimum 3-5 years' hands-on experience as a well test engineer
• Experience using Multiphase Flow Meter (MPFM)
• Working knowledge and technical understanding of multi-phase well testing meters

Required Skills and Attributes

• Very conversant with the upstream oil and gas industry
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous approach to work
• Knowledge of QHSE procedures and safety protocols
