Field Service Engineer at Smartflow Technologies Limited

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Field Service Engineer at Smartflow Technologies Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of flow meters, tanks, and other industrial instruments
• Ensure all work meets company standards and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare comprehensive site survey reports and respond to service calls as assigned by the Team Lead and Engineering Manager
• Manage workload effectively to achieve positive results and meet completion timelines
• Complete and submit all job-related safety documentation
• Conduct preliminary surveys, install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation department devices
• Communicate updates and site issues efficiently through appropriate channels to relevant personnel
• Continuously improve knowledge and skills in assigned tasks and equipment
• Track project status and troubleshooting activities with accurate documentation
• Comply with all official policies and organizational processes
• Follow up on all assigned jobs with proper documentation handover to relevant personnel
• Manage troubleshooting activities (remote and on-site) through to completion with full documentation
• Participate in cross-departmental projects and activities
• Coordinate with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) coordinator to investigate reported incidents, near-misses, and accidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc or B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of field work experience in Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with electrical panels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
