Fibre OSP Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview

The Outside Plant (OSP) Supervisor oversees maintenance of ipNX fiber optic and civil work activities on the outside plant network. The OSP Supervisor will be involved in day-to-day maintenance and management of the outside plant, coordinating with customer and local authority organizations. This role requires significant on-site attendance.

Key Responsibilities

• Restore corporate customer service failures within 3 hours of occurrence
• Restore retail customer service failures within 12 hours of occurrence
• Implement and integrate new projects and ensure all open incident tickets are closed within service level timeframes
• Provide prompt feedback and incident updates to the OTRS application with information relating to customer service incident resolution activities
• Proactively identify, plan, and execute preventive maintenance actions on the fiber network
• Audit and collate information for the fiber outside plant network
• Prepare as-maintained documents for the region/sub-region managed by the O&M Unit
• Prepare and submit weekly support status reports for timely review
• Activate FOS customer requests within 3 days of sign-up
• Sign-off customer feedback forms and prepare post-activation reports

Required Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
• At least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with fiber network deployments and outside plant maintenance
• Experience in civil works supervision and quality control
• Experience processing Right-of-Way (ROW) licenses with Local Authorities and State Regulatory Agencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
