The role involves supervising facility operations, coordinating cleaning and gardening services, managing vendors, and ensuring that all facility-related systems and infrastructure are in optimal condition to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations including cleaning, landscaping, and waste management
• Supervise in-house and outsourced cleaning and gardening personnel to ensure high performance standards
• Plan and coordinate regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections of facility assets
• Ensure that office spaces, production areas, and outdoor environments are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Manage inventory and supply of cleaning materials, gardening tools, and maintenance equipment
• Liaise with contractors and service providers for facility-related services (electrical, plumbing, pest control, etc.)
• Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify facility issues and ensure prompt resolution
• Enforce compliance with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, vendor performance, and facility expenses
• Provide periodic facility reports to management and recommend improvements for efficiency

Required Qualifications

Education:

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Facility Management, Estate Management, Environmental Science, or related field
• Certifications in Facility Management, HSE, or Environmental Sanitation (advantageous)

Experience:

• 3–5 years of proven experience in facility management, with background in cleaning operations and gardening/landscaping
• Preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Demonstrated experience supervising facility teams
