About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Facility Officer. This position oversees multiple critical facility functions including plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning, and preventive maintenance across depot locations.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Operations

• Supervise all plumbing activities at the depots
• Supervise the installation and connection of plumbing systems
• Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and components
• Identify required tools and special equipment for water treatment
• Identify required pipes and sizes for plumbing operations
• Install valves and fittings
• Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment, piping, and controls
• Install, repair, and maintain sinks, tubs, and toilets

Electrical Systems

• Conduct electrical testing and inspections
• Ensure systems are provided and install outlets, fixtures, and switches
• Implement preventive measures such as oiling motors and binding wires
• Troubleshoot and repair problems when systems shut down
• Test electrical equipment and component continuity, current voltage, and resistance
• Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related equipment

Air Conditioning Systems

• Install air conditioning systems
• Test systems for proper functioning
• Perform emergency repairs and maintain tools
• Order supplies and make routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency
• Record data when inspecting systems, including equipment temperature
• Recover and properly dispose of refrigerants when servicing air conditioning equipment

General Facility Management

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on company generators
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities
• Liaise with external contractors, service providers, and technicians for timely and cost-effective service delivery
• Ensure all outlets comply with safety, fire, and hygiene standards as required by regulatory authorities

Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure that all facility operations and maintenance activities comply with applicable safety, fire, and hygiene standards as mandated by regulatory requirements.
