Facility Manager

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - The Facility Manager is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and safety of all physical facilities at Lily College of Nursing Sciences. - The role ensures that classrooms, hostels, offices, laboratories, and utilities are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for learning, teaching, and administrative activities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all college facilities, including classrooms, hostels, offices, laboratories, and common areas - Ensure regular inspection, servicing, and repair of buildings, equipment, and utilities (power, water, HVAC, plumbing) - Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers, including cleaning, security, and maintenance services - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations - Manage facility budgets, maintenance costs, and inventory of assets - Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies - Coordinate space management and support campus operations and events - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility assets. Requirements: - Minimum of HND / BSc in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field - Proven experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role (preferably in an educational or healthcare environment) - Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards - Good vendor and contract management skills - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision - Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
