Job description
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position.
Position Overview:
- The Facility Manager is responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and safety of the organization’s physical facilities.
- The role ensures that buildings, equipment, and support services operate efficiently to support business operations and provide a safe, functional, and professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of company facilities, including offices, utilities, and equipment
- Ensure facilities are safe, compliant with regulations, and well-maintained
- Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Supervise cleaning, security, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify improvement needs
- Manage facility budgets, supplies, and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate space planning and office layout arrangements
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Prepare reports on facility performance and maintenance activities
- Support management with facility-related projects and upgrades
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with 3–4 years of relevant experience in facility or property management
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Required Competencies & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance procedures
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts
- Understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
