## Title: Experienced Montessori/Early Years Teacher

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Collins American International Academy (CAIA) as an Experienced Montessori/Early Years Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing young learners through child-centered, developmentally appropriate practices rooted in the Montessori philosophy. You will guide children aged 0–6 through structured yet flexible learning environments, fostering independence, curiosity, and holistic development using Montessori materials and methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a child-centered learning environment using Montessori materials
  • Observe and assess individual development to tailor instruction and support
  • Facilitate hands-on activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
  • Guide children in practical life skills, sensory exploration, language, and numeracy
  • Maintain classroom order and safety while encouraging independence
  • Communicate regularly with parents about progress and developmental milestones
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary and thematic units
  • Document learning outcomes and maintain accurate records

Education Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Montessori Certification from a recognized institution (e.g., AMI, AMS, MACTE-accredited)
  • Additional training in child psychology, special education, or inclusive practices is a plus

Experience Requirements

  • 2–5 years of teaching experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting
  • Proven track record of implementing Montessori curriculum effectively
  • Experience working with diverse learners and multicultural environments
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and developmental tracking systems
