## Title: Experienced Housekeeper

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this housekeeping position. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, well-organized facilities and providing excellent service to guests.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Keep facilities clean and properly maintained
  • Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors
  • Clean and stock restrooms
  • Clean up spills using appropriate equipment
  • Notify managers of necessary repairs
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Assist guests when necessary
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, arranging towels, and restocking toilet supplies
  • Keep the linen room properly stocked
  • Clean upholstered furniture
  • Gather arrivals and departures reports
  • Work with the front desk to arrange special requests and welcome amenities
  • Attend hotel meetings
  • Handle lost and found articles found in rooms
  • Respond to guest requests promptly
  • Place soiled linen in containers and send to laundry
  • Examine and count each linen item when sending to laundry and again upon return
  • Maintain proper records of discards and determine discard percentages
  • Perform detailed deep cleans when required
  • Complete any other assignments from the Line Manager or Management

Requirements

  • Minimum SSCE or OND qualification in any relevant field
  • Minimum of three years' housekeeping experience
  • Preference given to candidates living in proximity to Ogba
