Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Cook to join our hotel's kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes meet the hotel's standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene. This role is essential for providing a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the hotel's menu and recipes
• Assist the Chef in planning daily menus and specials
• Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for consistent presentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in handling, storing, and preparing food
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Chef or Supervisor when supplies need replenishing
• Minimize food wastage and assist with inventory control
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with catering for events, banquets, and room service as required
• Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
