## Title: Travel Manager / Team Lead

About the Role

Light Heights Global Services Limited is seeking an experienced Travel Manager / Team Lead to oversee operations across Europe, UK, and Canada. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in the travel industry who can lead teams of travel counselors and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and purpose of travel
  • Provide expert guidance on destinations, routes, travel packages, and visa requirements
  • Plan and coordinate comprehensive travel itineraries
  • Provide accurate visa advisory and guidance on application procedures and requirements
  • Assist clients in gathering, completing, and submitting supporting documentation
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-up and excellent customer service
  • Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide after-travel support
  • Lead and manage teams of travel counselors to achieve departmental goals
  • Work closely with colleagues to foster team collaboration
  • Uphold the organization's standards, ethics, and customer service principles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or HND in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the travel industry (not as a ticketing officer)
  • Demonstrated experience as a travel manager
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve set goals
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and industry practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
