## Title: Customer Service Officer - Bus Terminal Operations

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guests
  • Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system
  • Create and maintain guest reservation records
  • Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system
  • Assist guests with luggage check-in
  • Escalate customer complaints and emergency concerns to the appropriate departments
  • Adhere to company policies on guaranteed reservations and no-shows
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying guest complaints via phone, email, and in person
  • Forward booking and travel reschedule requests to the concerned unit
  • Provide service information to guests regarding travel schedules, fares, and payment options
  • Promote the online booking system, app downloads, and other company products and services
  • Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow employees

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum of two (2) years of cognate experience in Customer Service or Care
