## Title: Expediter
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join as an Expediter. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards, while managing purchasing operations and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (H3SE) Compliance
- Adhere to all H3SE rules, company procedures, instructions, and applicable legislation
- Maintain constant alignment with H3SE requirements and guidelines
- Take necessary measures to avert immediate threats of danger and exercise caution to prevent harm to persons, installations, or environment
- Participate actively in H3SE meetings, training sessions, and drills
- Cooperate actively in the execution of H3SE plans and implement H3SE clauses within C&P documents
Purchasing Compliance
- Ensure compliance of the purchasing process with all internal company rules, including guides to conduct and applicable laws and regulations (JV rules, country laws)
- Give special attention to safety materials to ensure all safety requirements—such as testing, certifications, and identifications—are fully complied with per company and local government regulations
Purchase Order Management
- Contribute to reporting Key Performance Indicators
- Follow up on QA/QC requirements by suppliers prior to material delivery (Mill/Test Certificates, MSDS, other certificates as applicable)
- Ensure follow-up of purchase orders until handover to Transit for FCA incoterm or Techlog reception for DDP incoterm
- Ensure receipt of acknowledgement from suppliers for all POs
- Monitor supplier deliveries for on-time performance as per applicable incoterm in the Purchase Order
- Follow up on PO readiness notifications by supplier to buyer and transit before goods delivery to freight forwarder
- Monitor goods receipt (GR103) creation versus contractual delivery date
- Clarify discrepancies between materials delivered and purchase order specifications
