Job description

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Job Background - We are looking for a well-experienced and presentable driver. - As the driver, you are to plan and follow an efficient routeto maximize time. - You will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle and observe every road safety measure. Key Duties - Safely operate and maintain vehicles in compliance with local and international traffic regulations. - Transport Executives to and from specified locations in a timely and efficient manner. - Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues promptly. - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for each trip to ensure on-time arrival. - Provide a high level of professionalism when interacting with Executives and colleagues. - Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. - Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures, including first aid and crisis response. - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of vehicles. - Ensure that all required vehicle documents, such as licenses, insurance, and registration, are up to date and valid. - Report any accidents, injuries, or traffic violations and cooperate the management and law enforcement authorities. - Follow internal agreed policies and guidelines on vehicle use and code of conduct. - Stay updated on local traffic and road conditions that may affect movement schedules and plans. - Ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated according to schedule. - Furnish management or representatives of vehicle maintenance and charge in spare parts. Key Job Requirements - Candidates should possess a High School Diploma - Minimum of 5 years driving experience with a good driving record. - The job location is on the Mainland with no accommodation. - Our Ideal candidate should reside on Mainland around Festac, Abule Ado, Satellite Town, Mile 2. - Excellent driving skills - Valid driver’s license. - Good knowledge of roads within Lagos and Nigeria. - Willing to work long and irregular hours, and on public holidays as required - Understanding of transportation law is an essential - Good traffic judgment - Good knowledge of car mechanics - Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal skills - Good communication skills - Good in communicating in English, and any other Local Language.
