We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Objective / Purpose of the Job
  • The Estate Accountant plays a pivotal role in financial management.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective revenue management, and strict compliance with financial regulations.
  • The role supports the operational efficiency of the estate by managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and providing financial insights that drive informed decision-making and optimize estate performance.
Key Accountability Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Manage and maintain financial records for assigned estates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile estate bank accounts, supplier accounts, and tenant ledgers.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of estate budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor expenditure against budgets and highlight variances to management.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements.
Cost Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments and proper expense allocation.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Facility Managers and vendors to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Provide financial insights and advice to support estate management decisions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
Compliance & Audit Support:
  • Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal controls, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Prepare documentation and assist the Financial Controller in coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Implement audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Timeliness and accuracy of financial reports.
  • Budget adherence and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with financial services.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
